Services by RIBA stage

From first assessment to signed-off design

Work is scoped as a fixed-fee package or as an interim lead inside your team. Each stage stands on its own, so you can start with feasibility and decide from there.

RIBA 1–2

Feasibility

Existing-site power and capacity assessment, HV/LV topology options, UPS strategy appraisal, energy analysis from metered data, CAPEX benchmarks and a PUE roadmap.

RIBA 3–4

Concept and developed design

Single-line diagrams, N+1 and 2N architecture, liquid-cooling power integration, generator and UPS sizing, switchgear and distribution board schedules.

Any stage

Electrical studies

Load flow, fault level, discrimination and arc flash studies, with labelling and settings recommendations.

Any stage

Grid and energy

Grid connection support, capacity planning, flexibility and load-shifting options, and heat reuse appraisal.

Fixed term

Interim electrical lead

Design lead or design-review role inside your team or consultancy, for a defined period.

Experience

Work where uptime and assurance come first

Projects are described without client names. References are available on request, with client consent.

European colocation data centre

Feasibility for a capacity and efficiency upgrade

Infrastructure assessment, UPS scenario appraisal, energy analysis from 12 months of metered data, CAPEX benchmarks, HV/LV topology, liquid-cooling architecture and arc flash studies.

High-integrity UK infrastructure

Lead and principal electrical roles on nuclear and naval sites

Design under safety, resilience and assurance standards well above typical commercial work. The same discipline carries into mission-critical data centres.

Deliverables

Documents clients can act on
